So...

I guess when I said I was back to blogging I was...wrong?

Anyways...I've been as busy as ever, yet still a bit lazy. I got a bunch of big stuff in the works including this new CD I've been busting my ass to work on. I've had singers coming in and out over the last 2 weeks recording hooks, singing, etc. The CD is coming together in ways I couldn't have imagined and it is going to be a beautiful piece of work. My goal is to make the prettiest hip hop CD ever. To Sit On the Sun and Eat Stars...yessir...

Other than that, GREAT NEWS! I am going to be video blogging over the summer and damnit its going to be craziness. A bunch of my friends have agreed. Look forward to craziness in College Station, Texas ghost town searching at night (Blair Witch Style of course), stupidness...grill outs...me...other people...ya...but hell it should be something entertaining for yall to watch over the summer.

I have more stuff going on but right now I'm tired and going to bed. Hopefully I'll do another one of these soon.

Be good.

Its Been Ages but I'm Back On This Blog

Wow, so much to discuss both on a personal note and musical...

Personal:
1.) Tonight I just got pulled over with no license and no insurance in a car that wasn't mine driving the wrong way down a one way street in a construction zone. Damnit. Which leads into...
2.) I went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and lost my license, stayed in 2 king suites at Harrah's Casino one night for free, met plenty of women haha, partied, and made some great connections. Not to mention...I had so much fun...you have no idea unless you were there. To emerge from a bar at 7:30 Sunday morning and realizing that it is suddenly light again is something else...and then meeting up with a bunch of strangers and getting breakfast with them at Cafe Dumonde...damn.
3.) I went on two more adventures, one to Virginia and one to Atlanta (to see Andrew Bird perform). Both were amazing haha. Ask about them if you want to know more.

Musical:
1.) I never sent in the mixtape to rapreviews.com...what can I say? I got a little lazy. I hope to do it at some point soon. It feels like it should be done.
2.) I should, within the next week or so, send off copies of Unorthodox to something like 50 different radio stations along with singles discs for them to play. I will list the cities once I've sent them off and tell you all which stations to call and request at.
3.) MOST IMPORTANT - I am well underway with one of the three CDs I'm working on currently. It has become my main focus and should be done in say....2 to 3 months but I don't really think I'll release it until August just so I can organize and perfect it all. I am playing the majority of the music in it as well...I decided to utilize my abilities on instruments to make a unique CD that will probably be more deserving of the title unorthodox than "Unorthodox" really does. It really is something new and I'm quite excited to get it done and out to the public.

Look for more updates soon. I hope to get into a pretty continuous cycle of updating this.

Until then,

Be good.

Its Been Almost a Month...tons to discuss...

Alright, wow, where to even begin? Ok well the "My People" Mixtape was released to wonderful reviews from those of you I talked to and right now I'm about to send it to rapreviews.com so it'll be interesting what they say about it. Thanks to the plenty of you that went out to Club Decades for the Mixtape Release Party that Thursday after the tape was released. It was a great time...

I am currently writing for 3 different music projects (two EPs and a third free EP with a YouTube campaign) with a fourth full length CD already being completely written.

As always, I tell you a music video is on the way but at this point we know how trust worthy that is...it shouldn't be this difficult to get one completed but apparently it is so we shall see...trying to remain hopeful here haha...

Personally...a girl just hit me with my own car...its a long story but I just got out of the ER...crazy times haha. They got me on painkillers and nothing is broken so I thank God for that. I'll be on crutches for a few days but other than that I should be fine.

Also once we get some more shows booked we'll put um up here.

Well yall be sure to hit me up.

Be good.

Times Are Changing For Me...

Well to start of, let me announce to the world that the "My People" mixtape is nearing completion and within the next 3 weeks or so be released completely free of charge via the internet. If you want a hard copy than pay me whatever it costs to burn a CD and make a case for it. I'll tell yall for sure what that price is when it gets closer to time...I am proud to say this mixtape is really the quality a CD should be for the most part...material wise it is new, clean, and original. I also do a remix or two to some popular song/songs out now (the plural depends on the cuts made to the CD).

After all that...I've been dealing with a lot of stuff in life over the last six month and I am highly considering taking a semester off of school next semester and traveling to Europe on my own to work my way from country to country until I reach Israel. I need an adventure and more than that I need to find myself in terms of my goals for the future, a bit about who I am, what I'm here to do, and find a stronger sense of religion and spirituality. Later I'll tell yall more about it...right now the Unisom I took is starting to kick in and I think I'm gonna go pull a couch into my front yard and sleep under the stars tonight.

Be good.
